Bosses and status ailments

Instead of making them plain immune, why not instead reduce the effect of those statuses? You can't chill bosses? Alright, I can understand that, but why not instead make the status apply with a lower effect (hell, even 5% will be fine)? But now your build with Hypothermia suddenly isn't crippled.

Afraid of broken poison and bleeding scaling? Well, why not fix that instead? But meanwhile, just make those bosses take considerably less damage from those effects instead of being immune. This would still allow builds relying on them to do something and it won't rule out niche gear like Southbound.
