Wow

Browsing through forums in my free time I see lots of people unhappy with GGG, they even state that GGG never listens, except for a select few. I would highly recommend that GGG starts listening to players, since they are what makes the game, any developer knows this very well, it's a huge mistake not to do so. All players should feel like they can give the word on the game they play.

( This post has no personal complaint on my part, just saw this and I don't think it's very healthy... )

Even Square Enix learned their lesson well, and Final Fantasy XV is made through players opinions.

They listen. But there is a huge diffrence between player and CryBabyWhiner (look any update topic with nerf, you will se a lot of them there)

It's a forum. Don't assume what you read is typical. It's a place where the fringe element can come and seem far more important than they are.
Also, players don't know things. In the last Lioneye's Watch, Chris said that the memory load on the servers has grown. Each server handles fewer players now. So when they make changes to skills like the Cast on Crit change, it's to ease the load on the servers. All players see is "you nerfed my build".

GGG seems actually pretty good at listening to feedback, they also seem pretty good at not listening to bs when appropriate.

What they won't do is answer on your feedback in the forums, only posts about clarifying mechanics get answers, and I suspect this is some sort of corporate policy to avoid beeing dragged into negative discussions on these forums (of which where is plenty of)

My thoughts anyways
The plan is simple: win! If you do not win, you did not follow the plan
I never personally understood what's wrong about nerfing something, if you made that character build, you should well know how to maximize its effects and turn things around for advantages.

There is nothing wrong abouit nerfing things, and GGG mostly nerfs stuff that are both too powerful and too popular at the same time, and in the case of CoC/Mjölner to save the servers.

It does feel painful when your legacy Mjölner suddenly is worth nothing, but it's just a game, so life should move on. I already "spent" my fun, so to say.

Btw, expect that wormbuild to be nerfed...

There's a huge difference between listening to feedback and improving the game, and giving players everything they think they want, which will make the game worse for everyone

You create a new build and new strategy, that's simple, it's what I always do in every single game, less strength ? Compensate with status effects of damage over-time, less defense ? Compensate with HP. Less movement speed ? Increase your evade, crits and status resistances. Very simple.
