question about herald of ice

im just wondering something if i got cold pen linked to herald of ice does each hit of my fp have cold pen i dont see why not since herald of ice is a buff sorta it should work right???

FP as in frozen pulse? Don't think so, the only part of Herald of Ice that would get the benefit from cold pen would be the AoE explosion when you kill a frozen enemy. Plus linking Cold Pen means your mana reserve will go up.

Herald of Ice adds flat damage to spells/attacks doesn't it?
But linking to cold pen. I think would only apply to the ice explosions. |
