Lighting coil or kaom's heart, whick is better for SRS in 2.4?

Lightning coil better vs physical, kaoms heart better vs everything else. If you already have lots of endurance charges or some other form of phys mitigation such that phys is already a joke to you.. then lightning coil is pointless.

Hang on.. the real question here is, why aren't you CI?

Neither. CI is king to much damage for life builds.

Well my srs ran out of sockets to put skills in even with 6socket chest and I didn't even have any other summons

Lol @ LC. Maybe more over hyped than Headhunter. If you're going with life, Kaom's or Belly are your two choices.

a Belly is not even on the same tier, i would only pick it over either Lightning Coil or Kaom if you are struggling to reach at least 160% life, the more life you get on the tree the less desirable Belly becomes, if you are a melee build you do tend to pick up some armour nodes and just a few can make even a rare armour chest with 90+ life outshine a Belly.

Depends on what kind of content you run. If you are a pro like _Tiem I guess that's true because you're running tons of elemental added damage maps and lowered max resist Maps, which means damage profile of enemies is frequently highly elemental and not physical.

For plebs like me though who tend not to Vaal maps, and like to reroll red tier maps with too much added damage, Lightning Coil ain't bad

LC generally grants around 29% more eHP against Physical Hits.

So, for example, if you somehow got 5000 Life before chest, and equipped an LC, the converted damage would make that 5000 equivalent to 6451.6 Life, but against Physical Hits only.

So if you had, say, 200% increased maximum life, and lowest possible max Life roll on LC,, Kaom's would let you end up with 6500 Life against everything, while you'd get 5180 / 0.775 = 6683.9 Life against Physical Hits only (and 5180 Life against everything else).

I usually build glass cannon, so getting 200% increased max Life is relatively rare for me. That makes the relative effect of LC even stronger.
