[Guide] Pit of Chimera.

Writing this for a close friend as apparently he doesn't understand from watching videos

---

Dashing Slash
+ A dashing attack that slices you inflicting mid tier damage

Bleeding Combo
+ A combo attack that forces you to bleed heavily inflicting massive damage

Flurry
+ Makes the ground into a red circle then does a devastating combo

Poison Claws
+ Every attack inflicts poison

Hunting you
+ Hunts you turning invisable until you run to the ''steam clouds'' quicksilver and clear the clouds away from running towards it; Don't stay inside it like you want to clear it with your body basically he will show up eventually. He does massive amounts of damage until he pops up so it's VERY important you do it asap.

Transition phase - > every 25% - > Vanishes then

Adds will show [ Minions ] on all sides and they hurt a lot so be defensive here +
The adds are in the following chosen at random - > Snakes / Goats / Fire dogs +
Each add phase has a mini boss +

Wow, thanks for all the info! Though I will likely never get there because my builds are usually crap...
Well, seems like chimeras don't stand a chance against dinosaurs afterall...
I make dumb builds, therefore I am.
Oh no he beat my ass lol he fucking hurts. I did do it but he did beat the shit out of me xD

Helpful info, wished I had seen this earlier. I did it last night. Just. This is no easy fight folks.
Censored.
That fire dog mini boss that can spawn during one of the adds phase will blow up in your face when you kill it, killing you in melee range. Nothing can really hurt my char during the whole encounter - but that dog blowing up kills me.

Ya the hunt thing scary as fuck, saw in the Fyndel video.

First time my group tried we failed, but that was like No Regen + Poison on Hit + Monster Life from the Vaal. Is probably the hardest of the four?

Depends on build - in my case, the hunt phase does literally no damage to me. :V The only one that is remotely dangerous is minion one.
Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge.
