WinMTR results for London EU gateway. Can someone take a look?

WinMTR results

http://pastebin.com/JLpFsnSN

Does this explain why PoE has been unplayable for me since 2.4? I don't seem to have any troubles browsing the web, streaming, or playing other games.

Thanks, friends.

was the test ran while playing?

If it was the worst you have is 1% packet loss (4 packets over the course of the test) and some spikes no higher than 69 ms

That would not translate into unplayable.

Assuming you are meaning stuttering which could also be asset loading, you could try using --noasync

I tried london/paris/frankfurt/amsterdam today and all had massive latency spikes (3death's today due to huge spike's in FPS and latency at the same time)
Getting the same issue and I'm also with plusnet. Was fine before the patch.

I ran the test with almost all applications closed (GPU Tweak II was the only one afair), shortly after a bad PoE session.

I tried --noasync to no avail the other day. Problem still persists. Also tried min graphics settings, no multithreading, etc.

My lag spikes are hitting well over 69ms on PoE, so can we assume it's not my net that's causing the issue?

I complied some short clips over the past few days at https://plays.tv/u/VillageIdiot - different examples of my lag, some with --noasync and some without, some from recently some earlier in the week (since 2.4).

And out of curiosity... how do you work out the ping from looking at the MTR results? I don't know how to interpret them! D:

Thanks for your help!

I also tried Frankfurt and it was worse than London. I tried Moscow too which felt slightly smoother but I wondered if that was because the ping was consistently higher, rather than spiking from ~16 to ~150+. It still sucked anyway, but yeah.. *shrugs*.

How it reads is.

Host, each line is a hop, first one being your PC and last one being the games gateway, the other ones are just the servers in between relaying the signal

%, is in relation to packets lost, the ones sitting at 100% are non issues because the problem dose not carry to the subsequent hops.
You are getting 1% on the last one though...while it's a small amount and shouldn't really effect you that much it should be zero

Sent, is how many packets you sent, 1 packet per second for 426 seconds
Received show how many of those packets got through, though this is not 100% accurate in some cases because of something called ICMP de-prioritization, the t2c3-et-3-1-0-0.uk-lon1.eu.bt.net show this

The next 4 deal with the actual latency for those packets, best being the absolute lowest ping you got during the test, your average during the test, the wrst (worst) being the highest ping during the test, and the last column is for the latency of the last packet (which should help locate disconnects caused by latency)

You say you ran the test after the problem...that dose not help show the problem, it should be running while the problem is occurring and you shouldn't be turning off applications to better the result, let it run as normal when you play the game.

This way it should show which hop is causing the problem.

@shagohodds if you are getting the problem on other gateways it's either asset loading or the problem is local to you/your isp.

I just did a Dried Lake run and started WinMTR at the same time. Here's the results. http://pastebin.com/nvgYNZYD

The run was just about as bad as it's been in terms of lag/ping spikes/etc. Perhaps one of the worst runs of the last week.

EDIT: I was using 'speedtest.lon02.softlayer.com' for the test just like the last one. I've read two different posts, one saying use this and then also one saying use 'lon.login.pathofexile.com'. I'm not sure what the difference is if any.
