[2.4] [ESC] need help with cospri's malice theory crafting

Idea:

* dual wield cospri's malice or pair with a spell damage shield (not sure yet)
* +3 crit Gloves with Essence + Assassin + Inc Crit. Strikes for 13.9 base crit (crit capped)
* put cyclone - inc crit strikes - coh - warlords mark in gloves.
* get a corspri's will and put elemental weakness on blasphemy (can swap warlords if you want)
* put glacial cascade (2x) - cold penetration in weapon(s) (can also use ice nova or whatever)
* get alot of accuracy + spell damage + crit multi on gear and jewels (6 slots!)
* use any aura you want for the remaining 65% mana (thought about using PoI and HoI)

Gem links:

* Chest Piece needs to be 6 Socket with 1 4L and 2L
* Need one Unset Ring
* Vaal Grace - Vaal Haste - Inc Duration - POI
* Cyclone - ICS - COH - Warlords Mark or Ele Weakness
* WB - FA - Fortify - Leap Slam or Bloodmagic and Leapslam in Weaponswap
* CWDT - IC - Inc Duration - Ice Golem
* Blasphemy - Warlords Mark or Ele Weakness
* HOI in Unset Ring

Pros:

* lots of life from tree and jewels (161% from tree + 6 jewels)
* easy crit-cap so no need for overly expensive rare gear
* alot of slots for rare gear will make capping res and getting lots of life pretty easy.
* spell have a really high crit chance due to assassin which means we freeze alot.
* no need for any 5 or 6 links

Cons:

* dont know if i have enough spell damage / elemental damage
* getting Cospri's Will AND Cospri's Malice will cost alot
* levling will be pretty painful

Other possible unique items:

* hinekora's sight for alot of accuracy and dodge/spell dodge
* Atziri's step for high ev and spell dodge
* snakepit (2x) + icespear
* rat's nest and drop inc crit strikes for any other gem (need more source of crit then)

Budget:

* Cospri's Malice: 2ex each
* Cospri's Will: 4ex
* Hinekora's Sight: 50c
* Essence of Horror: 10c (probably more, because we wont hit a good roll on first try)
* total cost of 6 socketing, colering and so on: 30c
* cost for the rest of our gear including 6 jewels: 2ex (probably at bit much)

total cost of 9.5 ex

what do you think about it? would it be good?

I'm running a DW-Cyclon-Cospri's Malice (aka DW-Iceloner) atm. But just 1 Cospri's as I use the second hand for a nice 80% global crit dagger rolled with Essence. Same with Crit-Ring and Gloves. I love essences ;).

Lightning Coil is NOT needed. I just was lucky to find this nice one and lucky lucky with 6 slot and lucky lucky LUCKY with 6 link (less then 300 fuse) ;). And to say the trueth ... LC makes a lot of trubble to get enough light-res :(.


The next big problem is to get enough INT+DEX. If you start as Duelist/Champion you will have trubble to get enough just from passive.


Rat's Nest is nice as it helps to get cap-crit-changs.

Still trying to get a nice enchant :(. I use Dual Strike or Double Strike for mobs which cover in corners ;). And it's a backup if I run out of mana for Cyclon.

I tryed every cold spell and the two best-wroking with Cyclon are Ice Nova and Vortex where Vortex tops every other spell.


Boots, Gloves, Belt, Rings and Amulet are Rare with focus on:
1) INT/DEX until enough for Cospri's Malice.
2) RES until cap
3) LIFE ... never enough ;)
3) Crit Changs
4) Spell/Cold/Elemental damage

As secondary set I use 2 against elemental-reflect mobs (they will kill you with Malice *g*) and to level some gems.

Point's I'm not sure about:
- do CoC and Malice share the same cooldown?
If yes it might be better not to use CoC+Blade Vortex :(. Btw I get 8-12 stacks against singel target which is another ~10k DPS.
- does Malice trigger from off-hand crits too?

I did not try T16/17 till now but everything below is done.

So I would sugest to to use Frost Nova + 2*support gem in one Malice and Vortex + 2*Support gem in the other Malice if you realy want to run 2*Malice.
Don't they share the same cooldown?
