rangers are great for getting damg nodes at the start but not for getting life nodes at the start. you wont get any life till about lv 7 or higher and thats not really much life either so i don't see where your getting that statement from?

Shadow has a good mix of stuff and can get ranger nodes and witch nodes easily

My advice is to play with the class you have the most xp with.
Do some testruns , not using any items from your stash to simulate race conditions.
Or try to predict wich class will be the least played. In the one hour test the 1st Templar was 16th overall and 5th: 48th place..All top 5 rangers were in top 20 overall.
My guess is that Witch/rangers will be the most played classes and thus the hardest to get top 5 in class.

You think Phase Run and Quicksilver flasks exist simultaneously.
