How much dps?

Im often playing leagues to maybe lvl 60-70 until trying out new char.
With Atlas of Worlds i finally want to make it to endgame.

I´m curiuos how much dps is enough for endgame?
Do i need a build with 5k, 10k ,15k, 20k dps? Or even more?
Whats your expirience? Right now i´d play a Lacerate build.
With good items i could get around 15k (at least calc says so).
It got good defense, but is 15k dps enough?

It all depends on attack/spell you are using.. on some of them tooltip is totaly useless.. I would say (from my experience of max tier 13/norm atziri runs+uber lab) that about 25-50K is enough (if you are not using some kind of damage over time)... But Im quite sure things like tier 8-9 maps could be very much possible on 15K dps.. it just wouldnt be super fast clear speed run.

On the other hand.. I am in no way expert in this game.. and its quite possible others will tell you something different.

P.S. I was using crit bino lightning strike with 150K dps, non-crit full fire dmg lightning strike with Oros sacrifice(up to 80k) and low-life blade vortex. (Yep.. I dont play much)

Endgame you say? that's Tier 15-16 maps, so 15k it's too low, of course you will able to kill trash, but when some boss come out, you will shit bricks.

Lacerate scales great, you should aim to get 60-70k with right gear. over 100k fully buffed.

Some streamers get 500K DPS fully buffed and geared, but honestly only them can get that damage.


Anyway i don't think Lacerate can be endgame skill, or any other melee skill, just don't.

I tried Lacerate few days ago in standard, was at 90K DPS and almost 10 APS, Great AOE, bad Single target.

100k-200k would be enough for t14-15 maps, not sure about the difficult of t16 maps.

You should have about 500k DPS to get to the end of end game, kill uber atziri efficiently, etc.

Don't worry if your tooltip isn't that high, as long as you're using skills that can get multiple hits in per fire or are doing DoT beyond your tooltip.

Crit Poison TS, for instance, with 5 arrows needs only 30k tooltip to get 500k real single-target damage when you're aiming perfectly.
