Fire and Ice
So i have not yet seen a build that really works with fire and ice, so for all you theory crafters out there, let us theory craft together!
this is what i have so far. Both fire and ice benefit greatly from crits. If i can crit with ice i can hold mobs in place while they take more burn damage form my fire crits. So the question is, whats the best way to balance out survivability with crit, fire and ice nodes? this is what i have come up with:

Ideally this would fit on 1 5 link chest piece. If you have a 6 link you could add another support gem. this build is assuming im getting power charges for crits from that unique item (cant think of the name right now) extra dex nodes allow for liberal use of bear and fire traps in addition to conversion traps EE should proc between each totem attack "resetting" itself, so neither attack ever experiences the draw back of EE. only curse to use would be elemental weakness, no curse nodes needed since it is pretty much the only thing you need to cast. What do you guys think? can this function? is there enough survivability? is there enough crit? is there enough general damage? |
