I'm wondering if the Divination cards in the Strongbox are restricted to the map itself or the chest can drop any card....
Do you know Bex?
I'd recommend asking in Mark's Mechanics Thread here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1676002

So silver coins were the first to come to Wraeclast. Then all we need is gold coins to make PoE same as D3 from 2012. That is a move that I should have seen coming as GGG is a proponent of retro arpg gaming mechanics. But moving toward traditional coin currency is not a move I would have thought GGG would make considering they highly tout the fact that PoE uses orbs as currency and not gold or silver coins.
On the strongbox, I wonder if that is a 1 out of 1000 strong box encounters to get it and the unique cards are probably a set of 7 or more and if there is the usual rng in getting a specific card out of the drops and lets say GGG has at least 10 of these unique cards that could rng drop well then there isn't enough real life time to play PoE to get a full set.
Good old typical and predictable GGG, gating content behind the usual super high rng (= super low rng chance to drop). Great for extreme grinders, bad for everyone else. "Working as intended" my ass.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.
The perfect solution to fix Trade Chat:

Its cool until you realize that the box is rarer than a unique box because they had to "balance" divination cards even though they were sold to us as a way to "deterministically" farm items.
Instead of a box how about you spend a few hours fixing the balance issues.
sadly it will end like this otherwise ppl will spam reefs with ambush zana
Good! Players should have more diverse and inecentivized reasons to leave the Gorge.

You would need
- the map
- zana + ambush available + currency to use it
- find one of these boxes (same rarity as arcanist = rare)
- spend currency to roll the box (we have no clue how rare this modifier is)
- get lucky to actually drop the desired card, since there is probably a good portion of cards in some maps
All in all i think the investment is on par as long as tier 1 cards are still weighted.(volls/headhunter etc)
You would be able to curve RNG in your favor, not overcome it so i think it would be perfectly fine.

Don't forget monstrous treasure/bountiful traps.
We fight to delay the end because it's the means that matter.

This is still additional opportunity to get cards. Too bad if arrival of those will affect current drop ratio... Not happens, right?

Not that you care about being right and just want to complain but.. Perandus coins were first, and that didn't actually make it into the core game for obvious reasons; Perandus was just a one-off league. Silver coins are still a currency with a single purpose, the only difference is that you turn them in at an NPC instead of right-clicking them. Wow, what a change, PoE is truly doomed; a currency that isn't explicitly (but is indirectly) used for crafting, woe is us.

Sweet, glad to see you guys are still updating old content to keep up with the times. Too many games forget about their old content :)
