I kinda feel like this is true. My friend just logged off, and logged back in asking me to help him xfer stuff and started showing me all his equips and orbs. Luckily I stored all his equips and notified him to change his password.

The part about knowing if you're logged on is interesting, I wonder if there will be an invisible mode for us at some point, since anyone can check your online status generally.
What was your password? I'm curious.

0% Chance you are a comp sci major. I mean, it's not even relevant to the conversation even if you were. Being tricked has nothing to do with your major.

Don't you have anything better to do with your life?

Did any strangers friend-add you lately?
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period.

the point i was making is that i'm tech savvy and would not get tricked into giving my pwd. hate to feed the troll but perhaps this point needed clarification.

And the point I'm trying to make is being computer savvy does not make you immune to phishing sites or malware. In some cases, when the user thinks he's "invincible" it makes them more vulnerable.

I'd be more inclined to believe a compsci major knows what a strong password is, but that leaves a question doesn't it?
