[2.3] [WIP] LL KB Wander 9K ES | max block | fast MS | 10-40ex

Hello, this is my first guide and large post. I've only been playing PoE for 3 months but if that doesn't turn you off, I have made my own, personally tweaked KB Wander build. Ideas from this build were taken from this guide so check it out when you can.

This build makes use of the various shield nodes around the tree to boost ES meaning that a high ES shield is crucial for survivability. Due to the ascendancy options with both Pathfinder and Deadeye and nearby nodes on the tree, a lightning damage variant should be viable as well - though I haven't tried it myself and as such I don't know which is better. My character is still only level 82 but because of the fact that I haven't taken any jewel sockets, I will see a large boost in survivability in later levels as I add 3-4 Reckless Defense jewels for 66-75 spell block.

Minimum of 10-15 ex with a "max" of 40 ex before you start hitting diminishing returns

High damage - Can 3-4 shot Uber Izaro with Frost Walls up (using a meh phys wand [the one linked in "required gear" and "my gear"])

Tanky as hell - potential 9k+ ES with 75 block and 50+ spell block and extremely high leech rate means it's hard to die as long as you have flasks up.

you get up to 42% flask effect duration and 20% flask charges gained (not including Pathfinder nodes)

Fast movement - potential 150 to 200 movement speed with pathfinder and skyforth (frees up a 4L for phase run)

Can run any map, including physical reflect (recommended only for pathfinder due to ease of keeping flasks up but I've been doing just fine with Deadeye)

You don't hit diminishing returns once you hit level 80 or 90. you'll be getting great nodes that will make noticeable improvements all the way to 100.

Can choose between Physical or physical/lightning

build isn't at full strength until like level 96 or so

stronger monsters like bosses require setting up with Frost Walls first (flasks last long enough that you shouldn't die while setting up even if you just stand there tanking hits)

there's no alternate MTX skin for kinetic blast :(

Crown of Eyes preferably with some aura reservation or KB enchant. High life leech and ES roll


Shavs for low life. High ES roll


Highest ES shield you can afford. 500+ preferred. Other mods are great but the priority here is ES

High pDPS wand with craftable or already modded crit chance.

Eye of Chayula OR Skyforth for stun mitigation

Pathfinder: Nature's Adrenaline -> Master Surgeon -> Master Herbalist -> Veteran Bowyer

Deadeye: Far Shot -> Endless Munitions -> Rupture -> Fast and Deadly

3L: Flame Dash - Faster Casting - Portal

3L: Blood Magic - Discipline - Herald of Thunder (I'm using ice because of my enchant but I think thunder is ideal for synergy with Vessel of Vinktar)

3L: Enlighten - Wrath - Haste

2L: CWDT - Ice Golem
2L: Frost Wall - Spell Echo

2L: PCoC - Orb of Storms
2L: Phase Run - Enhance

With skyforth, add increased duration and faster casting to phase run.

You'll be getting jewel sockets last
Fill every socket with Reckless Defense.

Skyforth isn't necessary, you can substitute them for rare boots which will make it easier to cap your res. Get added physical damage on your rings and amulet if you can
