Nudity in Path of Exile lol

I'm sorry, this thread is kind of pointless but I just needed to get this off my back because it's been bothering me for the past couple of days since I started playing (I love PoE btw, it's one of the greatest F2P games i've ever played). And I didn't know where else to post this so whatever.

So I've been looking at a bunch of threads that were made a while ago regarding people complaining about the nudity in Path of Exile, not just on here but a lot of other different sites, and I can't even grasp how unbelievably dimwitted and stupid some of these people are. Like it seriously makes me want to crawl into a ball and cry. What cruel malevolent force that had part in creating our species would allow someone's mind to be this laughably stupid?

First of all, they complain about how their children could see this and it could effect them. WHY THE ^$&# ARE YOU LETTING YOUR KID EVEN PLAY THIS GAME IN THE FIRST PLACE? WTF?

Second, the nudity in this is not even sexualized. For example, the statues in Solaris Temple. I think it's trying to show us how the Solaris Temple is a beautiful place and the human body fits in with it because many people see the human body as irreplaceable and elegant. (Take the Statue of David for example).

Third, there's areas in the game where there's massive piles of dead bodies, rivers and pools of blood. Themes of enslavement, hatred, degradation, murder and torture, and you cry about seeing a stone penis on a statue and breasts? This goes to me asking the first question.

Fourth, you do realize that you're in a generation where you could take your 12 year old kid out to the movies or McDonald's or anywhere public, and there will be girls his or her age (and even up to 10 years older) out in public that dress so provocatively that they make Andariel from Diablo 2 look like a winter-coat fashion supermodel?

Fifth, why are you letting your little kid play this game again?

I think you are too invested in the opinion of other people. Just because someone has an opinion of some nudity in a video game that differs from yours, you will curl up into a little ball and cry?

Your points about why do they let their kids play if they are not mature enough to witness pixels in the shape of a nipple, as portrayed by this game I agree with.

The whole debate about how bad it is to see boobs, yet we are perfectly ok with exploding bodies, dismemberment, burning alive, and all the other gory stuff, is also ongoing.

So while I agree that it's not something to be bothered about, I think their opinions on the matter are valid from their perspective, and does not effect me whatsoever.

Just let them gripe and move on. Getting all bothered about a booby in a game is almost as bad as curling up in a ball and crying because someone else is bothered by a booby in a game.

I think there was one guy that collected some pics and GGG did seem to change one thing, but I am not sure if it was censorship or not. The statues now fall stiff and dont seem to fall in some angles they did before or something (allegedly, dont remember very well tbh, but at least last time I checked statues positioning it was really weird, would fall and spin as if they had positions to auto-lock in).

that and the original globes were slave girls, but we may still get a option to change/purchase old globes in the future so dunno if should count or not since GGG wants to change globes with each new act to fit the theme,though, i must ask why the hell a lioneye's reference in an expansion that has nothing to do with him.
Either way, if such option comes I would expect it only as early as next act expansion, which I guess is going to be next year or so.


Also, I blame americans, specifically the current leftist pussies (not all left, you know what kind of people I am refering to, minor hint in spoiler who I theorize are the "grownup" child of the good ol' soccer moms.

Some people have no appreciation for art. And we don't give a damn about their children.

Both main american parties are insanely conservative and restrictive compared to much of europe and asia i heard a while back.

hmm, there are definitely right wingers wanting censorship. but you might need to pay more attention to the games some on the left are playing. They usually put themselves on a pedestal and use some supposedly noble goal to do it.
