If PoE was like Dark souls patch notes ~

Now most who've played Dark souls will understand that they don't really give you notes like they give it to you but they actually want you to decipher them yourself it's actually pretty funny anyway lets begin.
+ Poison nerfed a little bit + Cyclone has received some adjustments + CoC has received some adjustments + Various skills have been readjusted + The efficiency of the following categories has been adjusted: Bows Swords, 2 handed swords + Various balance tweaks and performance + Maps have been adjusted ![]() Dys an sohm Rohs an kyn Sahl djahs afah Mah morn narr Last bumped on Jul 31, 2016, 3:26:42 PM

It would be painful.
PoE is relying way too much on maths to keep evolving your builds trought patch notes it would kinda ruin this and discourage the most into updating them. Eventualy it could be fun :D +Made some adjustements to fishing +Made some adjustements to insanity Hf :) Last edited by Heli0nix#0378 on Jul 29, 2016, 10:50:00 PM

I've played games with abysmal patch notes.
Examples: "We've changed something good luck." "Updated the Game" "Patched" |
|

Oh, ds3 patches are terrible. You're just left like "????? So how exactly am I effected by this?"
Sure, the lab can be hard, but it's pretty easy if you're properly geared, and not terrible at the game.

I would welcome it.
GGG spends too much time writing patch notes and people still end up ungrateful and accuse them either withholding information or lying (remember the one or two times they tried to explain balance changes ? yeah that didnt go too well) besides, finding out shit yourself is one of the best part in video games. |

HoN has some great patch notes, they changed a while ago to make an effort to explain rationale for balance changes, which is absolutely awesome. i.e.:
![]() Compare this to PoE balance changes in patch which is just a sentence on the change with no extra detail, i.e.: "The cast time for Ice Nova and Vaal Ice Nova have been reduced from 900ms to 800ms." Last edited by Ceryneian#3541 on Jul 30, 2016, 3:56:00 AM

" GGG tried doing this before, but a lot of people were dissatisfied with rationale for some changes (mostly nerfs) and pretty much called GGG liars and stuff...it was a bit ugly |

Has PoE lost so much interest that we're now chatting over patch note comparisons?

" IF poe would lost interst then we would not be taking about it. "Is there such a thing as an absolute, timeless enemy? There is no such thing, and never has been. And the reason
is that our enemies are human beings like us. They can only be our enemies in relative terms." |
