[2.3] (Updated Video Available) Amberfied's Raider Lacerate Sword+Shield/Dual Wield Viable
 Like the title states this build will be revolving around the skill lacerate. It can be played both with dual wield and 1H+shield. This is the first build I am posting so do drop me some feedback! Feel free to drop me a message! Introduction Video Link Gameplay Video Link Both videos are roughly 5 minutes each Pros Has pretty good clear speed Cheap Visually quite attractive Cannot be frozen Cons More effective playing alone rather than in groups (If you group alot) Reliant on frenzy charges for damage. Lacks single target damage (Trying to work on it) Intelligence requirement not high but slightly gear dependent. Overall Experience/Mechanics I've been playing this build for a couple of days, did up to T11 Maps and did not find much of a problem completing them. This build barely needs anything expensive to be decent, optimizing the build would cost you a little more. Was running with a tabula rasa all the way till level 75 before I made the investment into my 6link. Currently I have 59% Evade Chance 46% Dodge and 30% Spell Dodge, should you want more, you can add in Atziri's Step to your build to increase it even more. You main damage spike is when you hit 60 where you will probably use Scaeva Gladius which is really really really cheap. Jewels My build currently does not run any jewel sockets, however after hitting the final skill tree you will have extra points to play around with. Should you decide to put them into jewel sockets I have some recommendations below. You will mainly want any damage modification that will apply to swords, a life % roll and an attack speed roll. For this build you will be running Grace with either Arctic Armour or Herald of Ash.
You will eventually be able to run all 3 of them when you have your Alpha's Howl and a level 2/3 Enlighten. Alternatively should you want damage over damage reduction from Arctic Armour you may run Grace and Hatred(Provided you are not using Physical to Lightning) Helpful Uniques

Here are some uniques not in order of level that will help you get through the leveling process. Passive Skill Tree 1H Sword+Shield 45 Points 75 Points Final Tree For the final skill tree, once you have enough damage you can swap out Essence Sap & 1 Mana Leech node. Ascendancy Points

 You will want to rush into getting Avatar of Frenzy as this build will be running 8 frenzy charges so you will benefit a whole lot from it before working towards getting Avatar of Onslaught. Bandit Rewards

Bump.
I'm a new player and started off with this build. Level 11 with around 52% chance to evade attacks, and it really helps. I can kind of tank bosses that would deal considerate damage because most of the time they miss me, and when that happens, my life regen(albeit low) kicks in before the monster hits me again. Will update later as I get further into the game. As for single target damage, maybe we could swap Physical to Lightning/Added Fire/WED for Concentrated Effect? Again, thanks for this build, it's great so far. And shields look cool. :) |

Hey i love the idea of the build but can you post what skills is viable to use? lacerate is a good skill but i find it ugly...Oh, btw nice build!
