Blind support

Even if it does proc, it would do nothing since they can't actually apply the curses. Those are your skills. They can only use the skill that you cast to summon them.

Blind works fine though. Traps can apply effects like blind, stun, hinder, ignite, etc... since they aren't your skills.

I know traps can trigger blind if they are linked to the support gem, but I think traps won't trigger player modifiers like blinding assault ascendancy passive, cause it's a player mod, the same way they won't trigger "on hit" enchantments. Not sure though.

On hit enchantments (on gloves, right?) are your skills, so traps can't use them.

If you have "25% chance to blind enemies on hit", that is just part of your offensive stats. Same as if you have "Damage Penetrates 10% Elemental Resistances". it works for traps too.

Things that don't transfer to traps include:
- Your other skills. Traps can't use or trigger your skills; only their skill.
- Your defensive stats. So if you have "25% chance to create a Smoke Cloud when Hit", your traps won't get this.
- The originator of the attack. If you have "15% chance to gain a Frenzy Charge on Kill", then that is an offensive stat, so the traps will use it too. However, since they are the originators of the attack, they will gain the frenzy charge. (Which is impossible since they can't have frenzy charges.)
- Ancestral bond. I guess because it would be really stupid if your traps and totems inherited this offensive stat.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

You really enlightened me. I didn't know that enchantments where MY skills, so that's the reason I thought "on hit" global mods won't work with traps.
Anyway, I still think that blind support should be in a better place for evasion builds.
Spell totem - summon raging spirit - blind - melee splash should blind pretty much everything in a tough boss fight.

I agree 10% is too low though. That should be the level 1 value, and it should level up to 29% at level 20.

Glad to help! You can see the glove enchantments in your character window btw, if you want to see how much damage they do etc...

Yeah, 29% would be pretty good, at least for evasion builds. Is kinda bullocks that, at the moment, evasion builds need to use lightning coil or taste of hate to survive. Evasion should be a more reliable option... Just throwing seeds though

I know that, and it's amazing. It should be the same for the bloody minions...
I have used Blind when facing Dominus Ascendant with an evasion based bow Ranger; in combination with Barrage and LGoH, it has helped me be able to confidently stay up in the Ascendant's face throughout the fight.

Chris has made it pretty clear that, for meaningful choices to exist in PoE, there have to be both good and bad choices. Maybe Blind is a reflection of that design philosophy. Or maybe Blind has a specific focus that makes it seem useless in general while it actually can be quite useful under the right circumstances.
TY to those who called me out on my BS on these forums. There is no benefit to being so selfish as to fail to acknowledge others' differing beliefs of what "should be" or believe your own opinions so supreme as to be factual and thus dismiss others' opinions as being somehow a lie or delusional.
