Noob Question about ilvl

Hey guys, so I currently have a Doomfletch Royal Bow with an ilvl of 28. Lets say I choose to do the prophecy, Ancient Doom, and have it changed to a Doomfletch's Prism Royal Bow. Will the ilvl stay at 28? If thats the case am I stuck with it being capped with crafting a 4-socket Doomfletch Prism?

The ilvl will not change. However, you aren't necessarily stuck because Vorici's bench ignores ilvl requirements for sockets.
