Is volls devotion mandatory? Endurance charge generation seems good enough with scold and juggernaut ascendancy.

You dont need scold's at first, but eventually you will need it to self gen max endurance charges for lots phys reduction/ life regen.

Voll's devotion is the core unique. I dont think you could drop it.

We use scold's bridle to self gen endurance charges only for constant big life regen/ phys reduction.

Yes volls devotion is mandatory for boosting up your dps to another level. bcz 20% chance to gain max endurance charges is not enough for a strong enough boss fight.

With voll's devotion, each of your discharge can consume max of your endurance charges.
Without voll's devotion, theoretically only 20% of your discharge can consume max of your endurance charges. Thats a huge dps loss.
