Ok, mother's & father's day are about celebrating, not oppression, true.

Without the relevant info, I would guess that it would probably be racist in the US, but not in certain other countries where white people are discriminated against. " I would call it as different standard or shifting standard rather than double standard. We are indeed playing favoritism to a underprivileged group with history of discrimination and oppression.
