Staff Lightning Hybrid [Critique welcome !]

So I'm about to start a new Templar, a hybrid of lightning and physical damage.
It gets Eldritch Battery to run some sweet auras. It gets his defence of Armor/Es based armor, determination, quite a bit life nodes (+215 max life, 201% life) and a total of atleast 25% block chance of Staves.

I <3 Groundslam, I really dislike LS, but I think it's a better option.

I'd like to have critique on this build and hear what you guys would change !

Why no serpent stance?

Also, wouldn't the early melee damage nodes in the templar tree be worth taking?

This sort of 2hd staff tanky LS templar has been an itch I've wanted to scratch for a while, nice work and I will follow this thread
