Controlled Destruction Supporting Attacks

The controlled destruction support gem is currently supporting attack gems (i.e. it shows up on the hotkey, increases the mana cost, and reduces critical strike chance) even though it only has the tag for spell gems. I tested this with several different attacks including Static Strike, Cyclone, and Spectral Throw.

Yes, it does support attack gems, it's supposed to. It has a modifier, the 100 reduced crit, that can apply, hence why it does. The other modifier is essentially useless.

So basically, you are crippling an attack by using that gem linked into it. It also has the tag, support, which is the other key element you are missing.

It has that modifier, but it doesn't have "attack" tag, therefore it shouldn't apply to attacks EVER, IN ANY WAY.
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

Because we fixed it. Gem supportability in cases like this is determined by the ability to apply the penalty, not the bonus.

This gem was previously incorrectly restricted to spell gems, rather than damaging (and thus critting) gems. This was the cause of bugs with non-damaging spells, at least one of which was abusable to some degree. This was fixed by making the gem apply correctly in 2.3.0

Now tell me again that I'm wrong.

Mark is good at making laughable excuses, I'll give him that. It doesn't change that CD supports attacks while having no "attack" tag(and no other tag that could be used in that case), which is a clear bug to anyone with at least a grain of common sense...

Increased critical strikes doesn't have the keyword either. It just says 'support'.
For some reason this never bothered anyone, though. I wonder why?
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:
