Is there a reward given out by Blizzard or GGG to the most over the top, early bird fanboy that pisses on all other games or something? How is this going on for 19+ pages now? Some of you (and obviously not everyone that has posted on this thead, you'll know if this applies to you) are actually arguing that one is far better than the other based on 1) An extremely short and limited beta that doesn't have all of the features or content implemented into it versus 2) A beta with more content but is not as far along in the development process that doesn't have all of the features or content implemented into it yet. What's worse is that they are so similar in nature that if you enjoy one you'll likely enjoy the other but since you're so wrapped up in this "my game is better than your game" 14 year old fanboy mentality that you'll likely miss out on one of them. At the very least, wait until the games are actually done and you've played them before making a judgment. To quote Lucky Day, "It's like living with a 6 year old..." Well even I haven't chance to play Path of Exile personally yet, I still prefer it over Diablo 3. I used to play Diablo, Diablo 2 and Diablo 2 LOD for years. Diablo 3 will be a little bit different, it won't be that oldschool hack'n'slash we've loved. And I also like the GGG's philosophy - free and fair for everyone. I've played the D3 Beta and its literally so little content its unfair to make a judgement on it. I have not experienced POE yet, it looks good though. I will likely play both games, make a judgement on which one is more pleasurable to pwn noobs in, and stick with it. I am a graphics whore though. I could give a shit less about story in an online game, my number one goal is to be the best.
