Diablo III will crush this game...hell with ur beta!
" ruined is more of a personal opinion in that case. and pandaren is evil >_> also " i definitely agree with those statements, though as for the greed one, being a businessman myself i understand a companies want for money, its the reason they sell the game. Yes, working on something your passionate about is a fringe benefit, but at the end of the day, its about the money (personal opinion) also I for one, like the new resource systems and the skill system in diablo three, i dont consider it to be the killer arpg of the year, but they're entertaining to play with and offer lots of customization. (playing off friends beta account) but you can also relate the "its made by x company" back to a lot of games. Look at bethesda, if they release an adventure/rpg game then it automatically gets game of the year! (imo skyrim has been the only one to really reach something like that, and it still pushes it due to glitches) or the entire call of duty series, they get 10 million awards because of the name call of duty :o Last edited by Nephrael#2782 on Jan 26, 2012, 3:34:43 PM

The problem does not lie in: "making money". The problem is that they want so much money, they can never finish.
I'm 100% sure that the Blizzard Overlords have so much money that neither them or their families can ever spend them all. So much that their grandchildren cannot finish them, even when wasting them. I'm all for making money, but when you reach a certain threshold, like so much you can shit on them, you should stop. Now if you think I'm exaggerating, it's your opinion. " i have no problem with people making as much money as they want if they find a good thing, but Personally if i got that much money i would start donating it to charity or funding other projects rather than sitting on a pile of it (not to imply they don't or do, just saying) but i do feel its a bit of an exaggeration, a lot of costs go into running a business, and while the business itself is very lucrative, i dont know if they individually are multi-billionaires. note that im not being sarcastic or anything here, just debating with ya. :) |

What they do with their money is up to them. I couldn't care less.
I guess my main problem with any gaming company that "ruins" games for money is that they also try to sell you shit. "We know it sucks, but you'll like it cause it's from us." No matter how you mask it, perfume it, brand it...shit is still shit, and smells like it. Not to put all the blame on the company alone. The gamers have their share of the fault. buying same shit every time, gives the company the OK to do it again. Now enough about this, we all have different opinions on what is wrong, right, what should be, what is, about game companies. Nothing will change on this front as long as gamers buy the same shit without even blinking. Now where are the PoE haters, and D3 worshipers? I like poking them with a stick and watch them rage. |

" For many people, it's not about hating Blizzard, it's simply about loathing their PR, development and financial decisions. Some of those people are not literate enough to express that, and prefer saying things like "blizz u suck gimme gam". Fact is, There are many, like me, who actually would have no problem with Blizzard if not for their intended goals. (For exemple, D3. I love the RMAH idea, it's something that needs to be tested some day in some context anyway. Diablo is fine for that. But that doesn't mean you should build and tweak the game around that RMAH. Build the RMAH on top of the game, not the game on top of the RMAH. I sometimes feel like they are selling us an auction house, where, on the side, you can go kill monsters.) " I like RMAH too, it brings the whole real world trading problem to a place where it can be controlled, but as you said, building the whole game around it is a no no. also who really cares what blizzard's goals are, as long as they're catering to the customer and not just reiterating the same (cough cod series, been on idtech 4 since cod 1 cough) thing over and over again i have no problem with em. |
