Voidheart Iron ring + Bloodletting and Dirty Techniques

Just been thinking about this above combination. The ring provides 100% bleed and poison on melee hit and the two passive keystones in the duelist area are supposed to be giving a big boost to both bleed / poison and damage over time. I'm currently leveling a 2h earthquake Juggernaut and considering trying this combo. Am I right in assuming that this would be a considerable dps boost?

This is the ring:

I would say definitely yes for bloodletting--with earthquake, the first hit causes bleeding and the second hit is boosted by the bloodletting bonus and causes a new, even stronger bleed. After that you can run away for a bit if necessary while your foe chases you and dies to bleeding, or you can just continue hammering along if you're in no danger and you still get that fairly sizeable 25% attack damage increase.

Dirty Techniques is pretty bad for an earthquake build because that 10% increased skill effect duration is kind of huge. Plus, the poison on hit is completely pointless--you're really only gaining the 40% increased DoT, which is not really what EQ is about.

Also, nitpick, you meant "notables", not "keystones" :P

I think reduced duration applies to the poison as well, so Earthquake isn't a great skill to poison with.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Well, you can reasonably use rapdi decay on earthquake, so the reduced duration poison would, at the very least, deal some damage.

That seems like a pretty heavy waste of a support gem slot for earthquake.... The reduced duration may help earthquake a little bit, but you're losing out on a ton of base damage.
