"projectiles return to you", honestly, what's the point ?

Hi there,

Give us a reason to play with this affix.
Maybe it's cool to see projectiles returning, but it brings nothing to the gameplay, cause it cannot hit again a same dude, and cause most mechanics in poe are "on hit"...

I tried to be creative, but failed to it, cause mechanics are destroying my creativity, AS OFTEN.

It can hit the same guy, there's just a cooldown between hits.

Playing Ice Shot Deadeye and never saw any Ice Shot(s) return (and, on top of that, hit enemies).

Default Attack, on the other hand, definitely "returns" and may hit enemies, but what's the point?

Is it possible to chain/pierce and have the projectiles return at any point? I would guess pierce ignores this.

You just wasted 3 seconds reading this.
From what I know the projectiles cannot hit again the same enemy on return no matter what.
I even noticed that if you miss initial hit, it wont attempt to hit again the same monster, because the miss already counted as attack.

I see completly no point in that addition to deadeye passive except for cosmetic change.
Also since the projectiles need to hit something and fail to pierce/fork/chain its completly unreliable to use. Because either the projectile will wanish on end of the track or hit a wall, and walls dont proc it.

If it proced of walls and end of projectile movement then it would be reliable way to clear enemies attacking you from behind. On avarange maybe 1 arrow out of 50 arrows return to me, maybe bit more.
For now its totally useless addition, even fork is more usefull than that ( someone even use fork seriously in this game by the way?)

there must be some reason for using that we overlook it or they would not have wasted time adding this mod.

Well, Tora's crafting bench mod was added a long time ago ("proj. return to you") but there are still no builds utilizing it.

It would be great mod if they made the arrows return at hiting walls and expiration.
Plus they could add "Returning projectiles deal x% less damage" and make it hit on return.
I often play with no sound, so I use it as a way to detect enemies offscreen. If I shoot and a projectile comes back, then there are enemies there.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:
