Do many people play on Standard league?

I started playing the last week of Perandus (Previous League) and was able to get a character to level 53, when the league ended i wasn't quite ready to give up on the character for a new start. I played it during break in between leagues and was able to get it to 70. When Prophecy released i started playing that but i still haven't given up in leveling my Bladefall Scion on Standard.

Basically, you should give the leagues a try they really are fun with the mechanics they throw in. but its nice having a character on standard to play at times or in between leagues.

Why do people keep asking this question? It's just a cancerous topic and generally the people asking these questions are just hate baiting.
People play SC because they play SC, play HC because they play HC. Same goes for league of choice and honestly that is all you need.

People have an agenda when they talk about what league is more vibrant. I think I know the answer and am biased. Try 3 months in each and you will see what the answer is most likely.

Im currently taking a break from POE, due to Labryinth burnout...i absolutely hate the idea of it and its currently preventing me from returning.

Anyways, I used to solely play HC temp leagues...dozens of chars each league. Eventually, got tired of losing them. Went to Standard (all of your stuff from previous leagues get sent to)...had a bunch of currency there. Was able to try some really fun builds out. It was a blast.

Flip flop between the two Id say. I ended the last league in Standard...Unsure if I'll come back for Prophecy. If I do, it'll probably be a HC char or two.

I will say that it was much much much easier for me to trade in Standard than it ever was in HC. People actually bought my stuff and vice versa.
