FPS/Latency/GGG?
I've been searching and searching, trying to figure out where and why the game started and palyed fine all last season and the beginning of this, until the last few patches, and now the game is next to unplayable, with GGG no where to be seen or heard from, HECK
The LAST patch was AFTER I had been trying to figure this out and had NO details of this issue even being present. If this is the forum to voice and/or get answers for these questions, or if not, I ask, does GGG make public note on things or issues they've noticed to help players avoid trouble? Do they hide it? Ignore it? Wait for the next patch? Do they even USE the forums? I have EMAILED, made threads, bumped threads, and I can't seem to get anywhere. Whats awesome is I was debating after last season and I finally decided to make a few purchases, and now your ... game is unplayable? And no one knows a thing? Even you guys? Things are quite busy after major releases. Especially when those releases have a few issues.
Did you create threads here? Someone usually gets to them unless they don't contain enough information. Make sure when posting for support that you provide as much detail as possible and in the case of network/latency issues post traces as requested in the "Rules" sticky post. |

Every time, I enter a huge pack of mobs, my fps drops to 0 - 10. I've literally tried everything, and then some, and nothing has helped the performance, and of course, every and any other game is absolutely fine.
Redownloaded my client. Downloaded it directly and played directly through steam, Tried --preload and *^&8ing --noasync (things which players aren't going to know about but clearly isn't communicated enough). I just give up, I can't play with others, and no one and their aunt knows whats going, can or will help. Everything about this game has been unbelievably well hidden rather than shared, and it just doesn't seem like a community that cares. Might just pack it up at this point, trying to have fun. |

This company doesn't even have technical support hotlinked to their contact support, and they're getting frustrated people like myself WASTING time on their BUG reports forum for no reason with no one or nothing to help say otherwise?
There not that many people working for GGG.. this is appalling. |

The information is shared if you're looking in the right places... namely the announcement forums and reddit.
You also have to remember that GGG is an indie company and PoE is their first indie game. They aren't a publisher-backed company and PoE isn't a AAA title. They have some problems for sure, but for a free game, they're doing a pretty good job and learning along the way. As for your fps issues, more detail is needed to determine what is causing the slow down. Post a DxDiag.exe export in a spoiler tag so we can see what hardware we're working with here. Also your video settings would be nice to see. Maybe post a screenshot with the F1 graphs open as well as the video options screen. |
