Grand spectrum drops?

Anyone discover yet if they drop via prophecy or something or if its just random chance?

My guess is those are endgame lab specific drops.
It will be funny as fuck if it's the daily reward for top time for endgame lab. The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

" I hope this is the case. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Anyone who planned their first character's build around 12 of these things and gets salty over them being rarer than they expected will have a chance to learn a nice lesson. Don't plan on getting a new item that looks wildly OP - it's probably not as good as you think, or if it is, it will be quite rare. If you still insist on planning on using it, at least don't do it with your first character of the league. This gives you time to evaluate the economy and viability your main build. |

Currently several available at 1 digit chaos prices, so I assume they are common enough. Maybe not common enough if you planned on using 12+ of the elemental damage ones, but still, a few are quite affordable.
