Plan for 2.3 prophecy (discharge + leveling guide)(cheap to start easy to build)

So, would you guys multimod that, even its a bad base? I just got the currency to do that, not much more.

I used that till now:



So, the question is, how essential is taking the best base or how worse is the bad one?

Hi I just started following the guide as i'm interested in;
1) playing a cast on crit discharge character
2) speed runs

One question so far , i've made it to act 3 and no quartz scepter 3 blue 3 link dropped to vendor for +1 lightning gems. Looking at vorici calculator it says if one drops it only has 9.2% chance of being 3 blues, on top of that it has to have three links. What is the alternative if one doesn't drop? I'm just hopeing currently for a 3 link item to drop with blue sockets, hargan is selling quartz with 2 blue sockets and 1 red all linked so i might just use that for now but it obviously won't be worth chromming :) thx for now :)

just adding problems noticed along the way as I am new...
1) spark is annoying in quite a lot of indoor zones with doorways because it's blocked by walls+ the doors are tight.
2) piety boss fight sucked. 80% of that room blocks spark, 50% of it being the centre zombie pile or whatever it is :)
3) Dominus took 350 spark casts to kill... i'm probably missing something here but i was using +1 lightning gem weapon with spark+faster cast (can't use cd it's just impossible to dodge anything) + never did get that 3 blue socket linked weapon.

I guess i'm missing some trick vs bosses? Kaom just 2 shotted me and I have 1000 hp. All i have is spark+orb of storms with conductivity to help with dmg. He took like 150 sparks to go down. Should i be using any auras lvl 20-64? Also picked up a flame golem to try and help with dmg, barely buffs it.

Hi..i have a question ..Can you reach endgame and high tier maps without volls devotion and a 4l or 5l volls protector being the only unique?....im asking because in the imaginary discharge=volls devotion and if you dont have it you dont must play discharge...im asking because im planning to do this build as my first character in this league and I dont know if im doing wrong picking this as first character..you level with spark and I dont wanna play spark 3 months because i dont have the gear for discharge XD.. wanna switch discharge as soon as possible..thanks
