Lower tier Supporter packs?

Hey all.

[TLDR: I would like to see more options with supporter packs. Examples are lower tier entry or splitting of higher tiers]

I've been playing this game for a couple years now and I have no problem in picking up supporter packs when I can but depending on my financial situation I often can't. Admittedly a bit of this comes from the conversion rates (which yes I know is out of everyone's hands).

First of all, I really do love the supporter pack business model with the upgrade option but I still find the entry to be a bit high. On a similar note, I find I have the mentality where I prefer paying a smaller amount and upgrading later as opposed to the full amount in one hit (might just be my own opinion). For example, pay $30 for the tier 1 and then next pay week pick up tier 2 for $X.

I've just been wondering what GGG's thoughts are on lower tier supporter packs? Not sure if there has been another post on this or not. For example the Prophecy one that just released. Prior to the $45USD one there could be a $30USD one with equivalent coins and portal but no armour set and then an additional $15 upgrade for the full bundle. This might not be the best example but you understand what I mean.

Alternatively, another option could be to split the more expensive parts into 2 parts. For example the Ascendancy supporter - Challenger, there could be Challenger 1 and Challenger 2 with the items split across it accordingly.

I know for the awakening launch they did have a $30 supporter pack as the first one. Is there mention anywhere as to why they didn't continue this?

Sorry for the huge wall of text. A lot of this is just my opinion since I don't have access to the statistics for supporter packs but I'd be interested to see if others share this opinion.

Thanks all.

I do understand there is the argument "Why not just save?". The problem with this is more around the mentality. For me personally, I feel $30 + $30 over the course of say a month is much better than $60 in one hit.
I buy points most of the time. Only time I buy packs if its something I want in pack. The drag purple armor doesn't do it for me this time so I'll buy points. You can buy pts as low as $5.

If you buy pts those sales can be applied later to pack so like buy $20 in pts now and up grade to pack later when you can.

I like the idea of more suporter pack things for low amounts .

Cuting up the big ones would probley not be the best idea from a buissnes stand point since then players who have lots of monney would just pick only the things they want spending overall less money .

However giving low paying costomers many more options sounds great as it would help to folks get what they wanted at a fair prise they can haddel .
Just a sec let me grab a beer...@#*@ Ok how did I die this time

Learn the rules, it's the only way to exploit them.
Email support to create your own payment plan for any currently available supporter pack up to a six month period. Problem solved.

Confirmed but you have to contact support.
I don't see the harm in having say a $10 supporter pack every time they are released, for those who are on a tight budget.

$10 pack: Includes 100 Points and ONE pack item, just a portal for example or just a portrait frame.
Whilst I can pay for whichever supporter packs come out, I do have an easier time justifying it in my mind if it's a little bit at a time, so I definitely agree with you there.

I'm pretty sure at closed beta the lowest one was like $15 or something?
