Threshold jewels and leveling skills.

I assume threshold jewels were added as an attempt to help out some of the bad or so called leveling skills.

And now i see the new upcoming skill lacerate being promoted as leveling skills.

Why couldnt we make threshold jewels stronger and maybe some of these skills actually get used with comparable effectiveness of other fotm skills like earthquake and so on?

The only threshold i saw frequently used is barrage and thats only for barrage coc the skill itself remains barely worth anything.

I tried to run rolling flames x5 as anything below that my fireballs dont really shotgun well... And it came with the expense of a rather botched passive tree.

Stuff like the one for ST whats the point of a small increased damage per tick when you can just socket a gem with like 30+% total damage passively in form of %dmg with weapon %damage global ect? And i dont even have to meet the threshold requirement at all.

Most of the threshold jewels are regarded as weak / underpowered and their supporting skill remaining pointless with other innately superior skills.

Threshold jewels is a great idea its time to build on top of them. Make the jewels worth the hassle or make the worthless skills more useful please.
The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

I would LOVE to see Threshold jewels be of use, and I think it'd be a concept worth GGG revisiting.

Maybe every Skill could have two or three Jewels that would change (a little bit more) how the skill works.
An Example for CA could be:

With atleast 50 Dex bla bla bla
Caustic Arrow attracts a Poison Cloud Line as he travels further but doesnt release a Poison Cloud on hit.

Or another Example:

Bla bla bla
The Poison Cloud from Caustic Arrow spreads when an Enemy is killed but Caustic Arrow deals 75-50% less Damage over time.

Arc:

Bla bla bla
Arc shots two additional Arcs but deals 50% less Damage on every chain.

Blast Rain:

Bla bla bla
Blast Rain makes only one Blast/Explosion but has 200% increased Area of Effect.

Cyclone:

Bla bla bla
Cyclone shots out two to four small spectral Swords, per Spin, if you are holding a Sword in your Offhand. That spectrals deal 30-50% of your Cyclone damage. (One Spin is not one 360 with your Char. One Spin is if you click to a location and your Char cycles to this point. When he arrives he shots out the spectrals.)

Dont forget English isnt my mother tongue. :)
