Any efficient way to farm Vaal Gems/Fragments?

Pretty much as the title says. I need some Vaal Orbs, which means either random luck or the vendor recipe, so, I need to farm Vaal Skill Gems.

Not sure how the best way to go about it is these days, they used to be fairly common that I'd see more than enough just playing through...

Search on Youtube for dock frame rate farming. You basically keep zoning in and out of docks until you know it has spawned with a corrupted zone by looking at frame rate.

This is pretty much the easiest way. Once you have a ton of fragments, you can also run the pieces in map device to fill out your Midnights.

I'll give that a shot, see how it works out for me~

My framerate is generally all over the place, so I like to roll double boss mods on the Arena map and then corrupt it, at best you have 6 possible fragment/gem chances per map.

I'm not under the impression that corrupted areas drop more vaal orbs, so I'd still - even at this 'best spot' with 6 bosses - think its uneffective to invest a "full" vaal orb for the chance to regain 6/8 of it (since you need 7 gems and one fragment to raise a new one)?
