Still have shaky/blurry screen when moving

At first I thought it was an issue with my monitor, so I bought a BenQ XL2420G (with G-sync together with my Nvidia 750 Ti).
But that didn't change a thing. Screen is still 'shaky' and blurry when moving . It is especially obvious on text on items on ground (sideways is the problem - up/down is OK for text), but objects also have that shaky effect where they are everything but stable on the screen.

When playing a game like diablo 3 this blurriness and shakiness is non-existent, and together with my G-sync hardware that would lead me to believe that there is something wrong with the engine of PoE.
However, these forums should be filled people with pitchforks if it was a common problem, and I am not seeing any.

So can anyone give some input here? Is this game just blurry and shaky when moving or is there something else I need to look into? (I have tried to adjusting the quality of graphics settings, but to no avail).

This might be unlikely since it happens when you move, but you tried turning screen shake off right?

Yes. I never play with it on.
Also, when I say shaky, I don't mean everything is shaking left and right like an earthquake. I mean that when I move, then objects on screen are supposed to move along fluently, but instead it is slightly shakily coming along. It is sort of like it is shifting back and forth a little bit.
It looks very much like ghosting, but that should be impossible when I run with G-sync.

This happens to me when I use blink arrow or lightning warp, and it only persist for a few seconds. It only started doing this at 2.2.
2.1 blink arrow and LW were fine.

I get that effect when I play with lockstep above 150 ping, have you tried predictive mode?

I didn't know such a thing existed :). But having checked my setting I can see I am playing predictive. And my pink is usually always below 100 (most of the time below 50 too).

I use neither, although I do create a copy of myself (like blink arrow), and I have no idea what skill that is :). Also, the effect is persistent and does not seem to be linked to any skill AFAICT.

Try turning off shadows.

If your PoE realm pings are below 100 ms then you should be using Deterministic Lockstep mode. PoE: The Desync Years versions were awfully bad and I never will play PoE again with predictive (guess-stimating at best) mode.

Note: I run PoE with my old ATI HD6870 with V-Sync on so I can only get 60 FPS at most and with my 42 to 55 ms latency all is working well.

You may want to turn off LSO mode in your ethernet network adapter.

Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

Turning off shadows seems to have done most of the trick (I won't say for sure just yet :) ). The blurriness/shakiness of objects seems to have been reduced to an acceptable level, but text is still blurred as hell when moving sideways. Any idea why that is?
I mean why only the text on objects and not on the FPS/frame rate/ping when pressing F1? Why don't other games not have this problem? Just poor programming or what (it's not like graphics in PoE is impressive by any standard)?

@Arrowneous: I have changed to deterministic and will later look into those posts you listed. But I'm pretty sure it is not a lag problem (I'd be surprised if my monitor would be blurred because of a problem with my router).
EDIT: OK, I have looked at it and changed my LSO-settings. Unsurprisingly it did nothing for the problem at hand, but I think I could feel the pauses that would sometimes come when critting is gone, so props for that :)!

And now I managed to partly fix the part about the text being so blurry and shaky when moving sideways, but not when moving up/down.
For some reason the monitor's default settings were 60 Hz. After setting it to 120 Hz, that problem has been reduced as well. But it is still there a bit, and I can't really understand why that is.
