Malachai artifice unset ring & Gem Colours

So... portal and detonate mines white gems...
Can go into a red/green/blue socket indicating that they fit the criteria for a red/green/blue gem. Yet when you use them in this ring zero effect. Yes i realise that this this would be a game breaker combination getting all your resistances from two rings and two gems but it's the principle. One rule states yes this is a colour gem and the other says nope sorry. talk about getting your hopes dashed :) Last bumped on May 13, 2016, 5:51:14 PM

" White gems have no color, and they can slot into any color socket. Malachai's Artifice specifies the effect based on color of the gem socketed. There is no rule stating white gems have color, and the ring very clearly states the effect of a red, blue, and green gem being socketed. This item isn't violating any principle, you just seem confused about what a white gem actually is. |
