How do I make the final lab boss easier?

Hi

So having trouble with the boss on merc.
I heard in the other trials, they're are ways of making the final boss less horrendous.
Any hints on what do do on the the two former bosses to make the final fight a ittle less harsh?

Helpers will show up during the first and second izaro fights. You can look at the daily layout on reddit to see which helpers are currently in-use, and then look up on the PoE wiki to see what those helpers do. You must not kill Izaro until (a) all of his helpers have shown up, and (b) you have killed all of them. Otherwise, they will compound into a much harder 3rd fight.

This is particularly hard to do if you are, say, a summoner, since your minions might beat izaro before his helpers even come up from the round platforms in the corners--luckily my SRS char on standard can steamroll merciless izaro despite his helpers.

Anyway, if the hard part of the 3rd izaro fight is the traps, then there's no saving you.

I don't know if there's a tutorial somewhere you can look at, but each of the first two boss fights have 3 buffs that can get added to the last fight. The different buffs can be neutralized in different ways, so that's where the tutorial would help. Sometimes it's kill each of the buffs when they become active. Sometimes it's hitting one of the objects to remove the charges from the boss before he dies (he takes what charges he has with him so if it's zero, he doesn't have them). Before you enter the last fight, on either side of the stairs leading to his room you will see what buffs he will have. So, make sure both of those platforms are empty and you won't have to deal with any of them.

I usually approach the fights focusing only on the buff idols or statues or whatever they are. Ignore him for the most part until you can kill him with no buffs getting carried over.

Edit: well, 2 people answered while I was typing, so they probably explained better than I

Thanks for fast replys
Looks quite complicated.
A guide would be helpful, but can seem to find one.
Just run through videos.

The traps are tough in that fight. Kinda good that I can't get rid of them, cause that's what's ripping me really.
Especially exploding bombs.

Last time I was fighting Izaro with a squishy ranged character, I found the fight much easier when I stayed close to him, the reason was that it was easier for me to spot when he was about to spit his crap, so I could move out of my way.

Basically move to melee range, hit him, move clockwise around him, wait for his move, and hit again.
When he has his green circle, move out of it (or be prepared to move afterward), and be ready for his jump afterwards. Rinse and repeat.

This way I can usually stay to the bottom of the screen, away from the traps in the middle (don't get slowed, slow will kill you)

Btw, max block Aegis Aurora gladiator completely trivializes this fight (and everything else)
The plan is simple: win! If you do not win, you did not follow the plan
Oh, I forgot to mention, but Izaro's traps hurt Izaro just like every other monster in the game.

So if you want to make the fight faster, leap slam or warp past poison projectiles and wait for him to charge in and poison himself repeatedly.
Thanks a lot for all the info!

Since no one mentioned it yet, the wiki page on Izaro has descriptions of each mechanic and how to deal with it.
