Vendors and Orbs in Stash (Currency Stash Tab) #WhatHappened?

Hi,

It would be a nice QoL improvement to have it so that every orb in our currency stash tab is counted as being on us when we interact with any vendor.

What I've noticed: When I run my dailies for Vorici, if I go to my stash tab after completing the mission and click out a stack of 20 Jeweller's Orbs, I can buy the stack of 20 Fusing Orbs (which cost 64 Jeweller's Orbs), with the remaining orbs (44) coming from my stash tab.

But if I do not click out those 20 Jeweller's Orbs after the mission, even if I clicked out 20 Jeweller's Orbs from my stash before attempting the mission, I must run to my stash tab to click out a fresh set of 20 orbs in order for the vendor to take the remaining balance from my stash tab.

I know that sounds pretty convoluted, but what I'm suggesting is really simple: Have orbs in your currency stash tab count as being on you, as far as vendors are concerned.

[EDIT: So I just got back from vacation, clicked into PoE right after unpacking/et cetera, and checked on a whim to see if things had changed in respect to this issue--and they have! You guys are great. Thanks!]

They still do... Either you don't have enough Jeweller Orbs (64) total to buy 20 Fusing Orbs or you are experiencing a technical bug in which you should contact support for further information.

Nope, just checked: in my currency tab (as well as in my Remove Only currency tab), I have more than the 64 Jeweller's orbs needed to get a stack of 20 fusings from Vorici.

But when I went to purchase the 20 fusing orbs after doing Vorici's mission, even though I had 20 Jeweller's orbs on hand (from my recently completed Elreon mission), I wasn't able to purchase the orbs. With more than 64 orbs in my tab.

The vendors only check your first 6 tabs and the one you just accessed. I'm betting your currency tab is in position 7 or later.

This could explain it. I always have my Currency Tab as the first tab on my list so I wouldn't know about this.

soo the algorith should be changed to do this and any currency tabs,

Honestly that is complete shit design , though it seems to be what GGG is doing latly.
Too busy circle jerking themselves to care about the average supporter/player.

that's some strong accusations, what makes you so sure players with many tabs would tolerate a over 10 seconds delay everytime they want to buy something at the vendor because the client has to lookup all existing tabs for currency?


on the other hand, having the currency tab included in the search would make sense.
