Currency tab, Pros & Cons

The only downside I can think of is its high price as compared to a normal or even premium stash tab. The cheapest price for a premium tab is 27.5 points during a bundle sale, so a currency tab is worth about 2.7 premium tabs. If you're a new player and all your currency still fits on a single tab, you may want to spend your points on all-purpose tabs instead.

try doing the math, even just 5000 chaos orbs alone would fill 3.47 tabs....not to mention the other currencies

Math done for you, with stacks of each currency to 5000 the total amount of stash tab space needed is

48 stash tabs + a bit more(wisdom taking more than 1 tab for 5000)

Going by your math, you are still saving $119.40 without a discount on the currency tab

Non sale prices you would spend $160 on the bundles to cover that space and $192 for individual tabs

You also get another 5 slots for random overflow, thats $13 minimum to $46 max ontop of the above prices.

And people whine that it's not on sale..............................

I'm guessing it has no interaction with shards(don't have currency tab myself) so if you want to free inventory space from shards the you'll have to have 2 separate tabs for orbs and remember to move orbs to currency tab. Although if you already have more than 1 tab for currency that won't be a problem

It has slots for shards and it automatically completes the orb and stacks it with the others of it's type

That's if you have 5000 chaos orbs. I only have 120, which fill 1/12th of a single tab. Overall my currency items were taking three tabs.

No, I had only three tabs of currency, which were worth $8.25 (bundle sale price). I bought a currency tab worth $6.00 (sale price) and reclaimed three tabs worth of storage space. I saved $2.25. The amount I saved will increase as I acquire more currency, but it will be quite slow. Likely I will never reach $100 savings.

Let me repeat my point: as long as all your currency fits in two tabs or less, it's cheaper to use normal tabs to store it.

You don't quite get it do you, max stack sizes of 5000 of a currency item, those equate to the amount i've stated, your personal value is a different thing entirely.

I get that you are talking about the maximum potential value of the currency tab. You are not incorrect, but that value is relevant to only a very small portion of players. It sounded to me like you didn't get my point about the break-even point in transitioning from normal tabs to the currency tab.

Now, if there only was some way to do the same for maps.. =)
If only normal maps of the same quality could stack!
I love how people "save $2.50" like it matters. If $2.50 is make or break for you, you shouldn't be playing a game like this.
I can think of two Cons with this:

1. I had just trained myself to leave behind Blacksmith's Whetstones and Armour Scraps because who needed hundreds of these now because they take up room. But now I can hoard thousands of them! Yes, I'm an idiot :)

2. The inevitable remove only stash tab merge when the league merges with standard. Unbundling those 5000 orbs into their smaller sub-groups, to then transfer them into my master currency stash tab.

So really, first world problems only. It's all good!
