cyclone and vengence, weapon range and AoE?
can anyone explain how exactly they stack?
most commonly you are using a 2h weapon like 6-7 weapon range and starting at 0 inc AoE this should mean that when using a sword or mace with no other modifiers to thos stats you would have a base AoE of 6 weapon range. it should be obvious that when you add a 2 weapon range to any weapon types like a weapon with 6 weapon range you should end up at 8. then how does AoE interact with the skills? another mini question. what is the maximum range you have achieved or you think is possible? to start of, prismatic eclipse unique sword can provide a 12 weapon range+ it's base 6 should end up at 18, then you should be able to stack up the node, daresso's salute, the unique jewel, a corrupted weapon range on the weapons and more, then if AoE works you should be able to inc it even more... any ideas? I usually do not read popular posts again after i made a comment on it, unless it's one of my own. AoE radius for those skills is based on your melee attack range, increasing range affects the base radius. So, if you had 100% inc radius with a 10 range attack your cyclone would end up with 20 units, if you increase your range to 15 it will have 30.
Check the 'range' wiki page for more details, there's a maximum estimate on the bottom. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
