Value of Grace

It's not a special build, there are various ways to get multiple curses and Leadership is in an easily accessible part of the tree next to other excellent nodes. It's inefficient only for marauders and duelists. Also, if you play melee, you won't even need that as you'll be close to your targets anyway.
You have to be realistic about these things.

I cant take leadership with ALL my builds, Shadow, maraudeur, templar, witch and duelist.

Maybe my builds are very specials :p Thoo i need atleast 10-30 nodes to get it without that much of a benefit, not worth it in my case. Then it needs multi curse to be efficient, and to not use offensive curses.

melee builds needs to stay in melee range to deal damage but also need to go away sometimes to avoid oneshots ( dominus) and powerfull duration aoe ( merveil, crema boss), if you go away the opponent is not cursed and therefore deals more damage. It's doable if you can facetank but inefficient sometimes. Also it will not curse ranged monsters away from you.
So yeah, i understand that it works fine with some setups but it's not a generality :p
I will never be good but always I try to improve.

I'll say it like this: don't knock it until you try it, it's extremely good. I hadn't ever played with blasphemy until recently and now all other builds seem fucking weak in comparison.
You have to be realistic about these things.

Discipline will give you about 1200 ES which should be 15% or less of your total ES. Enfeeble reduces damage by much more and with temp chains you don't get hit at all. No contest.

The difference is you can get Enfeeble and Temp Chains without reserving mana. You can't get the same level of ES without Discipline.

OoS + CoH (+inc aoe, if you stick with a single curse) provides a nice, sustained source cursing, costs little mana, and takes very little time to cast, while most notably *not* eating 35/70% mana reservation, allowing you to burn your reservations on things like discipline or grace or arctic armor (if we're talking defenses, anyway).

I still wish there was a way to use warcries to curse on hit (or preferably a specific warcry designed to administer curses and/or have a 'hit' event) so that melees had a more friendly way of 'manually' cursing, but OoS provides a passable alternative. Hopefully GGG gives us a curse-capable warcry someday.

Improves clear speed, a lot. Also you can never get caught unprepared and sometimes you get surrounded and can't curse everything. But anyway, I won't argue more - if you don't want to use possibly the strongest defensive mechanic in the game right now, it's up to you :)
You have to be realistic about these things.
