Need advice for: Juggernaut BM Max Block Aegis Lightning Strike

I have a 95 totem Marauder and 100 orbs of regret and I'd like to try an Aegis build for the first time. Thought I'd ask for some advice before I do something I regret.

I'd like to focus on the projectile part of Lightning Strike, but I have no clue if it's gonna be a terrible skill to use with Varunastra.

Passive tree I have so far, with 3 points to spend:

Block:
30 aegis
27 tree
12 3x Reckless Defence
1-3 1% block jewel
3 Tempest Shield
2 corrupted Stone of Lazhwar with 2% block

(110% of block chance applied to spells)

Total: 75% block and 75% spell block

I could run around with less than max block and use Rumi's but I'm guessing that won't be fun during certain bosses.

Not sure about going Blood Magic, it seems to save some a lot of points compared to going mana-based. Will I really need some damage auras to make this build work? I could have Wrath/Hatred/Haste in Essence Worm if needed.

I could easily get RT and/or Iron Grip. Am I gonna be missing everything if I don't go RT or invest more points on accuracy nodes?

I also came up with this similar tree that includes frenzy charges for Hyaon's Fury, but I'm guessing it's even more terrible than the Varunastra tree.



I know Gladiator would likely work better for an Aegis build, but I'd like to push past 95 on this Marauder and I'm getting really tired of my Flame Totems. Any suggestions welcome.
