Please let us remove lab Enchantments with Orb of Scouring.
I recently started another char on PSC.
I was lucky enough to find some Seven-League Step boots on my first char and used them for pretty much the entire way from normal until merciless when I made the transition to low life. While I was passing through in cruel labyrnith I enchanted them because I didn't think it would do any harm there and it wasn't until later that I found out that was a huge mistake... The enchant set the level requirement for the boots from none to level 42 and its basically ruined now since I can't use the boots anymore for the purpose they are most useful for. Looking back I see that it makes sense to have a level requirement for the enchants because else nothing would stop you from using merc enchants in normal difficulty but it would be so useful if you could get rid of these enchants. Good way to punish crafters

" Your best option is to corrupt the boots, quite a few of the ones will replace the enchantment and set the level requirement back to 0, including movement speed. Next time look at enchantments before you do them. This has happened to someone else just like you before. Scouring isn't going to happen because they serve a purpose for the item itself. If they remove the enchantment then people can't craft on them as well, which is a huge downside, in addition its an implicit of the item so scouring isn't logical. Sorry you enchanted your boots, but you made a mistake and can learn, why you feel the need to post on the feedback forums to get it to change after 1 fuckup idk. " Only give enchantments are capable of killing you and that is only if you are "too stupid" to not check and see what it does. (hint scroll over on your character sheet and check), if you scale spell damage, proj damage but do a less common type, like converted damage or ele, then double check your gloves. Not only that if you get something capable of killing you, you can run the lab again and replace them, you won't die to reflect in the lab because you don't have to kill really any mobs in the lab, not only that its the map mod that is the issue, not a single rare. Hate it when people spread information to make people scared instead of just getting informed, shame on you. https://youtu.be/T9kygXtkh10?t=285

Well, I guess it's a design choice whether or not to make enchanted state on items permanent, and not super obvious one way or another which is better.
Didn't realize I could be fear mongering considering I thought it was pretty obvious how to neutralize the threat yourself. But I guess the methods you mentioned, though obvious to me, would not be obvious to everyone and therefore those other people would get scared? The main point here is convenience. Yeah, you could reroll enchant until you find one you like. Or if you like none of the enchants find a new copy of the base item. You could also remove Orb/Book of Regret from the game because you can just create new characters. Sorry that you misallocated 1 skill point but you learned your lesson for next time why cry about it on the forums? Read about your passives before picking them. Better yet, make it impossible to remove gems from their sockets. Quest and drop rewards should be permanent, damn it! Except ggg went in the opposite direction, adding bandit respec, vendor skill gems, and other such things to go back on your choices. Also not sure why 2 people in this thread are criticizing the crafting aspect of this suggestion. Did you... did you forget that vendor recipes are a thing? Or was the concern more that a Scouring recipe would conflict with existing delevel gem recipe? Because if so, I definitely think it would be totally reasonable to throw in a Blessed Orb. Vendoring item + Blessed + Scouring = zero interruption of existing crafting. Where's the problem? I see none. Need game info? Check out the Wiki at: https://www.poewiki.net/

It's very cool that scours don't touch the implicit. You can alch/scour and chaos away at the item.
You'd don't need a scour, you need a different currency. Just like blessed orbs vs divine orbs. |

Use an orb of regret and an orb of scouring to remove a Lab enchant.
That's not prohibitively expensive and it doesn't punish crafters. Now that prestige classes will finally leave lab in 4.0, will GGG get it right this time or will they find new ways to repeat old mistakes?

" There simply isn't a downside on any of the enchantments, except for gloves, which really only has to do with reflect maps. As for fear mongering I do think that the way your phrase was stated you alluded to the issue being something people should be extremely concerned about and also as if there wasnt a way to mitigate that downside, in the future its always best to say, especially if you know the alternative option so people don't get "scared" and possibly only agree with you because of the "fear factor" If you don't like any of the enchantments, then why bother trying it in the first place, a list of all the enchantments is available on the wiki, not sure if they are all updated with what exactly they do, but again this is a 1 piece only sort of issue, which is gloves, at least in terms of "not liking what they do" the secondary issue is about the ilevel restriction, but thats an issue experience can fix and overall is a net 0 risk to the user for that mistake. As for the regret option and the bandit change, regret option flows well with the idea of fixing minor mistakes or more importantly re optimizing after gear changes. The bandit reward follows the same logic. As for being dramatic involving sockets, passive points, ect. Your reaching far to try and get traction on a point that is pretty invalid, these things are already established, whereas the enchantment points needs to gain establishment on why it needs changed. " Because the scouring itself would be a serious issue. In terms a vendor recipe that would be fine, I have little to no issue with that. It adds a bit more complication to something that shouldnt be necessary but it is what it is. https://youtu.be/T9kygXtkh10?t=285

" This is incorrect. In the OP it gives another downside, about adding a required level to items. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:
