You can use 2x mokou rings with the cloak of flame setup, I used it in the gorge demo.

You could also use life/wed rings at the cost of clear speed.

The taming is for running those high maps where everything has tons of resistances and you're enfeebled.

What is the reason to not running Blasphemy Warlords + PoF, in order to never worry about mana and remove the need of LL gem on VMS?

Seems really useful for when vms is down.

You could run warlord's blasphemy, but with PoF and AA you're down to 5% unreserved mana before enlighten or any aura nodes you take, so you won't be attacking without blood magic gem. Otherwise you could drop a buff, but I find AA and PoF to be more valuable than warlord's.

You could always use it in the cwdt blade vortex setup if you wanted though, in which case you could drop the leech gem. Problem is rolling curse immune maps cripples builds that rely on warlord's mark, and I wanted to have this build be able to do those.

And yes, zerphi's is a great flask while flickering!

You can use infernal mantle but it doesn't offer much defense other than chaos conversion (reflect reduction). It is a huge damage boost to vaal molten shell though. The ES isn't very valuable for this build and the 100% spell dmg taken on low mana mean you'll probably be using blood magic or fewer buffs.

Wanted to make the build slightly tankier to prevent one shots. What do you think of using Kaom for our chest and moving the VMS set-up to ? Can 4L it and throw in an empower and still retain the power of VMS despite it being on a 4L?

Issue will be losing the ability to really stack res on the boots.

And if we were to choose between 6L Flicker vs 6L VMS, what would your choice be?

Kaoms is fine, but you'll need better rares to cap your res. You'll also lose a 4l with kaoms, so bear that in mind. You can run this build just fine with 4link vaal molten shell and 4l flicker strike just because vms already does insane damage; more links makes it better in high maps.

If I had to choose between 6l flicker or 6l vms, I would go with 6l flicker since it's your basic attack while vms already does insane damage by itself.
