Valuation: A loot appraiser for all you loot junkies out there
 Valuation is a powerful, clean loot filter for Path of Exile. Write your own filters, check your items and make some nice cash. Valuation is currently only available on Windows. Profiles: Do you play in a lot of different ways? Valuation lets you set 3 sets of filters which you can switch between! Play now, check later: When you press Ctrl+C, Valuation will store a match so you can check it later! " Valuation gives you the power to create powerful filters. While playing, simply press Ctrl+C while hovering over an item and Valuation will appraise it according to the filters you made. You don't have to interrupt your play at all! If an item matches your filter, it's stored until you press the Page Down button, bringing up a detailed overview of the items you found. Filters can be very specific or very broad. For example: Do you want to create a filter that notifies you when a Unique Amulet dropped, all you have to do is fill out this form:  You want to filter for rare boot with high values for energy shield, total resistances and maximum life? You can!  If you found a match, you'll be greeted with a screen like this when you press _Page Down_:  " Profiles in Valuation are a set of filters. If you play on a high level character, you may not be all that interested in having Valuation check for low level loot. On the flipside of that coin, if you are farming a low level area, you may not be interested in high level loot! That's why Valuation offers profiles. When you start Valuation you're met with the Profile prompt:  Items will be checked for filters that are in this profile. While playing, press Page Up to open the Filter Constructor. In the bottom-right you can click a button to switch profiles while playing. " So you want to start using Valuation, how do you do so? Simple! Download the archive from the Release page and run "Valuation.exe". Hotkeys Ctrl+C - When you copy an item in Path of Exile, Valuation will recognize this and appraise it according to the filters you set. Page Up - Open the filter constructor to manage your filters or change your profile Page Down - View all the matches you found while playing! If you want to close Valuation, right-click the icon in the notification area and press Exit. The program comes pre-packed with some filters for high-level loot. If you want to delete these or add your own, press _Page Up_. To create a new filter, first fill in the details on the left-hand side for the Filter Header. Filter Header Filter Name: Think of a descriptive name for your filter, it'll come in handy later. Type: If you want to search for a specific type of item, select it. Otherwise, [EMPTY] will match any item Subtype: If you want to search for an even more specific subtype of item, select it. Otherwise, [EMPTY] will match any item of the Type you specified. Rarity: Rarity is the minimum rarity an item must have to match. Normal will match anything, Rare will match Normal, Magic and Rare. Item Names: Item names are used to search for specific items *regardless of rolls*. As soon as an item matches any of the specified names in here it will pass, regardless of roll. Separate your names with comma's. If you want to search for specific rolls, that's where the Filter Details comes in. Filter Details Adding a new rule to your filter details is very easy. Click on an empty row and it will automatically allow you to fill it in. Detail Name: Think of a descriptive name for your filter rule, it'll come in handy later. Mod Name: Select the mod you want to check for Operator: Operators are what is used to determine how to check if the mod passes your expectations. * >=: Equal or higher than * <=: Equal or lower than * >: Higher than * <: Lower than * ==: Equals * !=: Is not equal to Value: This is the value that the mod will be checked for according to your operator. Ya, it could be an amazing tool, but I dont think the author will update it or even plays anymore.
You would think this would have gained more attention than it has :( I am a little concerned though, as the author only has 1 post on the forum and his PayPal donation address is "stylin-your.info" which sounds like 'Stealin Your Info" I may just be paranoid lol |
