Heartbound loop + Null's inclination - any build you can make from this?
Heartbound loop means you take 350 physical damage (as a hit) every time a minion dies.
Null's inclination casts all the minion skills you have socketed in it every time you kill an enemy. Afaict, minions with a limit (such as spectres, zombies, golems, skeletons etc...) count as 'dying' when they are replaced because they reach their limit. So if you put a Summon skeleton gem in Null's inclination, every time you kill an enemy, it will summon a skeleton, kill one of your old ones, then deal you 250 damage. Against big packs (or with multiple gems in the bow) you could get a pretty crazy amount of self-damage going on. So you can generate intense amounts of self damage when fighting trash mobs. I'm just wondering if there is any build you can make around this? As a pruff of concept ther are many things you can do but how mach good that will do? I tried this with Necromantic Aegis and it whas not realy worcking for me becouse you need realy high life, but agen ther is realy litle benefit in doing this in the frst place... |

" That's pretty cool. It's 2% of the minion's health, not your own health afaik. How much health do Skeletons have? They'd need at least 10k health before it would be useful for healing yourself. Then you could out-heal the self-damage (as long as you were 'nearby') and use the damage for CoDT. Seems like it would work a lot better of self-cast skeletons though! You can use the summon skeletons/heartbound loop combo to trigger a battery of cwdt spells like in that build:
StrangeCloud's [2.02] Sustainable Perpetual Auto Caster The concept should work with Null's instead of linking summon skeleton to one of your cwdt. Maybe raising zombies with null's could also work if you use it with Umbilicus Immortalis belt and Coruscating Elixir. With minion instability you get damage from the exploding zombies along with the triggered cwdt spells. A self casting zombies version without heartbound loop mechanic seems to work: The Explosive Sheep |

As said before cwdt is a good way. My suggestion would be to get 6 summon skeleton in the nulls and get the lab enchant to summon one extra skeleton (3 instead of 2 per cast). Get one or more writhing jar flasks, equip many of the Reckless Defense jewels (2-4% Block, 10-20% of Block applied to spellblock and most important 7-10% to receive a critical strike). The jewels should all have the Max chance to receive a critical strike for it to work. And the last thing you need is the leo flask Charge Master craft for belt (20-30% to recharge 1 flask charge when you take a critical strike). With this you could easily invest into phys reduction, because killing 2 worms with this setup you already would at least take 3 * 6 * 2 * 350 * (1-0.9) = 35 * 36 = 1260 and if you subtract the 4 max skeletons you have still 1120. And because you would be crit by heartbound loop its even more. And for bosses you could even swap in VMS which you would proc 36 times per flask use.
You can probably do just the same with the comk worm build if you put 4 times summon skeleton in the comk setup, that way you also wouldnt need a harvest because you already refill your flasks with the leo Master craft. Last edited by Goldarm5#2539 on Apr 11, 2016, 8:37:50 AM

The Reckless defence jewel gives you 7-10% to receive a critical strike from All sources. So everything that hit you will be able to crit if you have that jewel.
