Inquistor or Assassin for Quillrain+Blast Rain-CoC?
So I'm currently playing an Inquisitor Blast Rain-CoC with Quillrain bow.
Clearspeed is exorbital, but gearing is very difficult, especially defense. I am wondering right now if Assassin would be a better choice. Most negative impact I can see: no more ignoring enemy resists on all crits (and crit chance with full charges is very high for both BR and linked spells). Most positive impact: Assassin gets unfuckinglievable crit chance boost per power charge (+0.5% BASE per charge I think). Inquisitor vs Assassin: what would be your choice for Blast Rain-CoC and why? (SC) Thanks! Last edited by Jasmira#0473 on Apr 8, 2016, 4:10:28 AM Last bumped on Apr 8, 2016, 6:38:03 AM

Assassin is fucking awesome with CoC, use bladefall/ek/arc and no worries about resists, just gotta be careful and preflask with granite/basalt for reflect mobs. Throw in VP with a lifeleech gem and you'll be a tough mofo.
You have to be realistic about these things.

Assassin, you also get multiplier per charge too which is huge. And I agree with bars, especially on EK, with the projectile speed it gains it's phenominal. Spark is a good option too.

Yeah, forgot about spark, if you want to go that route, LiftingNerdBro has a guide in the Shadow section utilizing Drillneck. However, you can make any cast on crit assassin build wreck faces, just stack crit/crit multi, get some life leech with VP and it's good to go.
You have to be realistic about these things.
