Power creep
Hi,
came back after some time. Power creep went too far. Game is not challenging at all and builds that dont clear at movement speed are doomed. Oneshot everything and just run or whirl. This is the saddest itteration of PoE i have played. Everything is easy, there is nothing to grind, most of items which were rare are not. And with chaos conversions map mods are no challenge at all. Oneshotting atziri should be some kind of a message also. tl;dr: you have let the power creep too far and availability of items too, game experience is just not satisfying anymore to give some suggestions: make the game a little slower, 50more hp on monsters 50less dmg on players, just globaly, than deal with issues like poison gem (wtf is that an aprils fool joke?) edit: suggestion is probably overkill, but its just to give you a hint (however with all the more multi you are introducing, it might not be overkill at all) Last edited by TheSwap#6530 on Apr 7, 2016, 9:15:33 AM Last bumped on Apr 7, 2016, 2:58:30 PM

I agree but I think we are in minority. people seem to love high speed farming rather than 5 min long haul boss fights like original d3 had with enrage and everything.

Another thing as well, Nugi said on stream and I agree, is it makes more niche/fun/quirky builds, that happen to move slower/have set up time, feel way worse to play. Never mind at the end game. Going back to a slower paced game will be met with mass protest as everyone is too used to the convenience of moving at twice the base move speed and in general, people don't like being nerfed anyway.

the problem is not dificulty but the bar you are using to measure it, poe give people many choices but fails to balance them to have their own pros and cons so we end with FOTM builds that can faceroll everything and less fortunate builds that need godlike gear just to stamd a chance on high level content.
same for the "nothing has value part", play MF builds and or the market game and you will be swiming in items/ currency, play self found with non MF chars and odds are that you will reach lv 7x with crap items and little in terms of currency for any attempt at crafting. self found league fan

" I am none of those extremes I dont play market and I dont play self found, as most ppl. And you are probably trying to delude yourself here if you think getting for example shavs or kaoms is as rare as it was. Number of these "rare" items is tightly bound with clearspeeds: double clearspeed double the rares. + You dont get the feeling of OMG this is so valuable anymore, because nothing is really these days. |

Everything was cool before they decided to up the drops of tier 1 uniques. Then they went even further with Cadiro and the new league, uniques as of now have become something trivial.
Then they went on and introduced the ascendancy classes without actually increasing the difficulty. Finally they kept the map drops the same, which means overleveled, overgeared and overpowered characters can completely stomp everything below red maps while still being gated from going red because of the nature of the drops. Its boring. |

FYI, Multi was nerfed. You now need a higher number to see old effect.
Also, I doubt you're saying that ever skill is OP. I don't see many Ele-Hit builds for instance, while other skills are seen constantly. But Perhaps some skills could use a little balance. |

" You are correct, but think about this. Ele hit was used and was comparable and was not touched much, so basicly just compare nowaday builds against ele hit. One use that comes to mind is WillyWonkas ele hit totems. Also a single target skill for ele bows. |

Only powercreep I see now is with the skills or combos that were considered op even before ascendancy. Skills that were crap before are still crap now
