Whispering Ice staff audio too loud?

Is there a way to disable or turn down the volume of the Whispering Ice whispers? Currently it's way too loud (and it's actually louder in comparison to 'normal' effects) and since it triggers on every single rare kill it's getting really annoying to play with the constant loud whisper spam...

It's nice that some unique have such flavour to them but already after one day of playing with Whispering Ice I'm on the brink of switching to a different build solely due to the too frequent and loud whispers.

Maybe the effect should be under ambient category instead so we could lower it's volume (without affecting normal sound effects volume)? Or the frequency could be reduced so it doesn't trigger on every single rare kill?
