Mjolnir/Orb of storms interaction

so my buddy was wondering if you can use mjolnir effect (casting spells on hit) to proc orb of storms. wording is weird and was wondering if you guys could shed some light. Seems like it could go either way.

AND i mean casting arc off mjolnir, and it activating a pre existing orb of storms.

if you mean ATTACKING with a lightning attack gem, yes. orb procs on ANY lightning SKILL, doesn't matter if it's an attack or spell. you could spam activate tempest shield or toggle purity of lightning constantly if you so desired.

Right, triggered spells or those used by traps or totems won't activate it, however throwing a trap or placing a totem that uses a lightning skill will.
