[2.2] poisoned ice canon- damage overtime assasin

Hello! Welcome, welcome to my build of the poisoned ice canon.
A shadow build focussing on damage overtime mainly and possible adoptions of it.

1. introduction
2. skills
3. bandits
4. passive tree
5. gear
6. pro's/cons

!!DISCLAIMER!!
This build it highly experimental and should be handled with care, hardcore is there for not recommrnded, since I don't have alot of time on my hands it could be possible that the development of my character is slow, so I cannot gaurentee (yet) that this build is viable at higher levels!

1. Introduction.
Shadow is the type of character that always intrigued me and kind of got my attention, sadly it was not really viable when I started out. However times have changed and it might be possible that a dual wield shadow is finally a realistic idea with ascendancy and the new cadiro giving out usefull unique's every now and then. So join me on this journey of a shadow lurking the shadows.
This build is called "poisoned ice canon" with a reason. This is because it makes use of the shadows unique abilities allowing it to deal lots of damage in a short time, in trade off for his survivability, add damage overtime, dual daggers and crit's to that mix and you got yourself a nice ice canon.
Yes, ice canon, why ice you might ask? well let's find out in the next chapter shall we?
let's hope that it is a bit viable currency wise for beginning people of course, giving everybody a fair chance with this build.

2. Skills.

this section get's filled in overtime, based on my discoveries and what works and what doesnt work, this probably develops the slowest if not at all, since skills need to be balanced out on what you have in your passive list and how you play.

Suggested links are sorted on their importance

Viper Strike:
This skill is actually essential because you get it when you start and it has a 100% chance of applying poison on hit! that is exactly what we need for a build like this. adding a support gem like melee splash even increases it's use allowing you to poison groups of mobs in a single instant. This is our most important skill in early stages of the game.

suggested links
Melee splash
void manipulation
Increased Critical Strikes

Frost blades:
An other skill that you get very early in game(after killing hillock) a nice ranged skill that splits up to multiple enemies after hitting the target. Once your chance to poison is kicking in this will allow you to poison enemies from a distance, this will be our secondary if not primary skill for a long time.

suggested links
lesser/greater multiple projectiles
poison(gaurentees poison)
void manipulation

Clarity:

The classic aura for mana, this is not really a must, but it always comes in handy even level 3 will be enough for quite a while.

Riposte:
A trigger skill that hits back to enemies in range delivering them an other blow if needed, since we are going dual wield we will also pick up some nodes to increase block chance, this skill is not really essential, but it can come in handy as a little bonus to your damage output.
the best is that you don't have to cast it yourself!

suggested links:
melee splash

3. bandits
KILL THEM ALL!!! no mercy for the weaklings.

4.Passive tree

This speaks for it's self, this is the skill set up I recommend following and use myself, although I suggest alterations and changes, suggestions are also always welcome.

I recommend starting out with getting Blood and Soul Siphon, Trickery is a node we will need later on so be sure to get that in, getting those nodes first gives you a bit of survivability while going for Fatal Toxins. once you reached Fatal Toxins your hard work will pay off.

No comments on this one yet, judge it if you like, but I won't judge it until I have tried it or found major flaws earlier on in the build.

5. Gear
Gear is very important, without it you can't equip gems! so better line up those colourfull sockets in the right order.

current(leveling) gear

Spoiler

This is the basic concept for gear of this build which is mostly picked out for leveling, the tabula rasa can be exchanged for something more efficient if needed, it just happend to drop for me, making it a perfect deal to level.
Gore Drill can be found for 15 Orbs of alteration or be obtained from cadiro.
Bloodplay costs roughly 2-3 alchemy orbs making it an other cheap weapon to use.
Most required items can come from drops.

6.pro's/cons

pro's
Spoiler

-damage overtime, allowing for moving around after a couple of hits.
-early on good cast speeds.

cons

Spoiler

-requires trail and error or experience playing with this character.
-not really beginner friendly.

Questions, suggestions, idea's and all others are always welcome, I will do my best to answer them as soon as possible for you.
